The D-Joust DJ Competition

Hi everyone,
I've always liked the quote by Frank Zapper when he said "Writing about music is like dancing about architecture". The best way to find out about my style is to listen to my mixes, my chart and find out what my style is from there.

I play music that is going to put a smile on your face, a nod in your head, a tap in your toe and maybe an arm in the air. I seek out tracks that for me have got that magic ingredient. Something that will forfill one if not all of these criteria. Whether its got high hats to start your shoulders twitching, bass lines that jack your body or sweeping, soulful synths that touch your soul; if a tracks got that magic element then that's what you'll hear me play.

I started DJing nearly 10 years ago when I discovered that the only way to get the music I loved at the time was to buy decks so I could play the vinyl. Soon afterwards I was craving a gig. From then on I was hooked. As any DJ will tell you there is nothing quite like the feeling of having a whole crowd rocking it to your favourite music. There is so much great music out there I feel that it's my duty to spread the good word of house music to everyone.

I've played at various venues around the country including Ministry of Sound in London as well as Hed Kandi in Bristol. I recently took a jaunt around the world and had a blast playing in various bars and clubs in Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.

My theory when DJing is a very simple basic one. People have come out for a good time, and its my job to provide the sound track to their fantastic night out. You're not gonna hear me playing bad music, it's only strictly quality controlled, great dance music to get everyone in the mood to party. Find out for yourself....
