Giles has played at various bars & clubs including; SEone, Pacha, Ministry of Sound in London and more recently at Sankeys Soap in Manchester.

He is now a full time student at the Academy of Contemporary Music, and has the ability to play a wide range of music as a professional DJ (from funky house to dance and trance). He has developed his own unique sound using a blend of various types of house music with breaks and progressive elements. Giles’ technical abilities using the Pioneer CDJ1000s are fast and accurate, taking influences from DJs such as Eric Morillo and James Zabeila. Giles utilises technology in every way possible as he demonstrates in his sets by using the Pioneer EFX 1000.

Since becoming a full time ACM student Giles has taken a more innovative role by putting plans together for a radio station, as well as starting his own house music night in Bournemouth - Jackin' The Box. Giles has also been producing new music, while creating his own record label as well as doing productions for others.

Giles has been into the dance music scene since the tender age of 11. Listening to the big dance music compilations from back in the day and hearing all the latest tracks on the radio. This struck a nerve with Giles and kicked off a passion for music which he remains heavily involved with to this day!

Always wanting to mix like the top DJs that he heard on CDs and radio, he experimented with the idea of mixing with two personal CD players plugged into the inputs on a HIFI. Once he had two tracks playing together at once he knew he wanted more!

At 13, dance music was the most important thing in Giles’ life and he knew he had to get some DJ equipment. Where as most DJs started out using vinyl, Giles decided to start with some CD decks, quite a rarity at the time. Giles knew they where more stable than vinyl and also had more possibilities. However, after a few more years Giles realised that vinyl was still the dominant format and applied his knowledge of CDs to vinyl. He is now competent in using both formats.

Since then, Giles has been thrown in at the deep end and has undertaken numerous projects including the running of various club nights and the setting up of his own radio show, all of which have been very successful.
